There are direct flights to Canakkale from Istanbul; Monday, Wednesday, Friday by Turkish Airlines and hourly direct coaches from the central bus stations of Istanbul, namely Harem and Esenler, to Canakkale by Truva Travel. 

Airplane arrives in Canakkale in 30 minutes whereas the coach takes about 5 hours.  Between Istanbul and Eceabat Gallipoli, there is 250 km of two way road connection.
